I've been trying to come up with some quick and easy projects to do and made this handy little card holder. This would be the perfect card holder if you are planning on a night out that you don't want to have to carry that handbag or purse. It is just the right size to hold your ID and a credit card or two and slip into your pocket. You don't have to worry about them falling out either because it has the button closure. I will include the pattern for it as well, it is very simple to do.
Pattern:
Crochet hook: 6.00 mm
Ch12, hdc in 3rd ch from hook and across.
Ch2, turn, hdc across
Repeat ch2, turn, hdc across until you have 26 rows. Then fasten off weave in ends.
Fold over each end (about 4 or 5 rows at each side) sew sides together. Then I attached the yarn in the 4th stich over and sc in same stitch and next 3 stitches then ch1 and turn. SC across and repeat for 6 rows then ch1, SC in next 2 sriches ch2 skip next st then sc to end. Ch1 turn and sc across and repeat for 1 more row. Then fasten off. Attach a small button to corresponding hole.
