I have been playing around with different headband patterns trying to work them out where I can use the same design for different size headbands. I do believe I'm getting closer to figuring it out. I got the original pattern from http://www.leeleeknits.com/20-minute-free-crochet-headband-pattern-for-beginners/ it was a super easy pattern to work up, but I found that it was way to small when I worked it up. So I've made some adjustments to the pattern and the amount of chains I start with depends on the size of head I want it to fit and thanks to a chart I found posted on Facebook I am now well on my way to having headbands for all sizes.

Captain America Shield Pillow
So a few months back I seen this picture of a Captain America shield that was a blanket and I knew that I wanted to make one, but I didn't have the right yarn or hook. It calls for super bulky yarn and hook size N. Well I had decided I would wait to make it since I didn't have all the proper materials. I finally decided I was just going to make it anyway and use worsted weight (4) yarn and a J crochet hook. It didn't turn out near as big as it should have but I was okay with that because I made it into a pillow. I made two of the shields and then whip stitched them together then stuffed it with fiber fill. My son absolutely loves it and I'm glad I decided to go ahead and make it. I may be making another real soon for a Christmas gift. Charizard in the making
I started making a charizard a few days ago. I had to use a different color because I didn't have the lead color or even a drk grey so I used black since it is for my husband and he was okay with that color. I have all the charizard pieces done, now I just have to find some wire that I can use to put inside him so his arms, tail, and wings will look right. Then I can start attaching all the parts. I got the pattern from this website http://www.miahandcrafter.com/atelier/charizard-pattern/
So if you are interested in making one check it out.

Pokémon ball
Well...I finally gave in and got Pokémon go on my phone so my son could play. So, it was fitting that I also make him a Pokémon ball.
